From time to time we organise sociable-paced group runs. The aim is to gain route familiarity, get to know other runners and practice trail skills. These proved very popular this year. They are open to all but you are fully responsible for travel to and from the locations (which we will help with).

Manningtree Train Station to Harwich (finish) - 17 miles

Ipswich (Suffolk Food Hall) to Shotley (Village hall) - 11 miles

Shotley (village hall) to Harwich (finish) - full 50km (32 miles) route with optional bail-out at Manningtree Station (15 miles in)

Trimley (Village Hall) to Suffolk Food Hall - 10 miles

Friday 7th November (headtorch run)

Trimley Village Hall to Ipswich Train Station

13 miles

meet 18:25 for an 18:30 depart

This takes in the CP5 to CP6 section of the 5RU and the Orwell Bridge crossing. Relevant to 100 mile and 50 mile runners as well as those wishing to practice night time trail run
