The Route
You will be running on a 4.3 mile loop on a beautiful and varied coastal trail route on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk. Farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath lie between you and a lap completion. The route is circular on public footpaths, you must be confident in running on trails and be mindful of the general public also having access. The start / finish of the loop is at Shotley Village Hall where the campsite is situated.
Camping FAQ
The campsite opens at 09.00am, please do not arrive any earlier as we do not want to cause a backlog of traffic on the main road in and out of Shotley.
Tents and campervans welcome, no caravans. Where possible please share tents or campervans to make space for others. No large gazebos are to be put up next to sleeping area.
There is a sociable area with benches at the front of the Village Hall. No open fires, off ground BBQs are permitted. Please see general ground rules are listed at the Rose campsite. Cars will be not allowed on the campsite.
There is an option on the entry page to confirm if you intend to share a tent or campervan, this will help us monitor available space
